Locked away for more than 40 years, Andy Warhol's 1968 melodrama San Diego Surf will make its rightful return to the West Coast for a one-time screening at the  Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego on March 16. The film has only been screened at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2011, and in 2012 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Completed posthumously in1995, and starring Silver Factory regulars Paul Morrissey, Viva, and Taylor Mead, San Diego Surf tells the story of a young couple who rent their La Jolla beach house to a group of surfers.
